2018-19 NFL Week 14 Position Rankings (Playoffs Edition)

IT’S FINALLY TIME FOR FANTASY PLAYOFFS! Congrats to everyone who made it to the final four or six in their leagues! A few things to consider: 1. I’m keeping my eye on Colts @ Texans this week. I’m thinking that Houston’s winning streak may come to an end at the hands of their rival. 2. The RB position is a little weak right now with injuries to James Conner and Melvin Gordon, as well as the situation with Kareem Hunt, so make sure to target Justin Jackson and Jaylen Samuels on the waiver wire. 3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Eagles @ Cowboys. If the boys can manage a victory against their division rival, they will have the NFC East virtually locked up. 2018-19 NFL Week 11 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. I’m keeping my eye on Texans @ Redskins this week. The playoff implications are huge for both teams, as they both sit in a slight lead in a mediocre division. If the Texans can manage a win on the rad, their playoff hopes look very bright, whereas the Reskins’ will fade. 2. It’s too bad the Jaguars vs Steelers game isn’t going to be the slugfest we all thought it would be heading into the season, but at lest we have two great games on Sunday and Monday night in Vikings @ Bears and Chiefs @ Rams.  3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Chiefs vs Rams. This is looking like a Super Bowl LIII preview, but if Kansas City can manage a win, the Rams may be in danger of losing home-field advantage in the NFC. 2018-19 NFL Week 10 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. I’m keeping my eye on Cowboys @ Eagles this week. The Cowboys season already looks to be over, but if they can manage a win, the NFC East will still be up for grabs. 2. Michael Thomas only needs one catch this Sunday to pass OBJ for the most receptions through the first 40 games of a career. I like his chances to secure that record against the Bengals.  3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Saints vs Bengals. The Saints are amazing, but it’s going to be difficult to get a win in Cincinnati. It’s going to be WHO DAT vs WHO DEY! 2018-19 NFL Week 9 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. I’m keeping my eye on Steelers @ Ravens this week. Although most people are looking forward to the Rams and Patriots games, I believe that this AFC North matchup will have the biggest playoff implications out of every game this week just because that division is so tight right now. 2. The loss of Will Fuller and Keke Coutee, as well as the addition of Demaryius Thomas, will likely give DeAndre Hopkins even more opportunities to light it up in fantasy this week. Look for him to go over 100 again today, with one or two scores just for good measure.  3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Packers vs Patriots. It’s the GOAT vs the GOAT. 2018-19 NFL Week 7 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. I’m keeping my eye on Cowboys @ Redskins this week. In such a mediocre division, these games will end up having a major impact come playoff time. 2. If Julio Jones ever had a chance to break out and score some TDs this season, then the game on Monday vs the Giants is it. I’m expecting a huge day from the Alabama alum. 3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Bengals vs Chiefs. Will the Bengals be able to go into Arrowhead and hand Kansas City their second straight loss? Probably not. 2018-19 NFL Week 6 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. I’m keeping my eye on Ravens vs Titans this week, simply for the playoff implications. I see both of these teams fighting for a wild card spot down the road, so games like these are crucial. 2. If DeAndre Hopkins’s performance against the Cowboys is any indication to how he’ll play this week, then fantasy owners are in for a treat. He’ll be going up against a mediocre Bills defense that I expect him to tear to shreds. 3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Chiefs vs Patriots. The Chiefs are the best team in the AFC, and I think they will show the NFL world what they’re made of when they beat Tom Brady and the Pats in Foxboro. 2018-19 NFL Week 3 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. Is it possible that the Cardinals get shutout two weeks in a row? Facing an up and coming defense in Chicago, the chances of putting up more than 10 points this week are looking slim for Arizona unless they bring in Josh Rosen. 2. Check out Keelan Cole posting another 100+ yard game today vs Tennessee. I believe Bortles has found his go to receiver in Marqise Lee’s absence. 3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Rams vs Chargers. I believe the Rams will win easily, but for some reason, I’m sensing a possible upset in LA. 2018-19 NFL Week 2 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. I’ll be keeping a close eye on Packers vs Vikings today because I, like every other fantasy owner, need to know if Aaron Rodgers is actually healthy. The fact that he is active this week is a good sign, but we won’t truly know his condition until we see him out on the field. 2. I’ll be interested to see how the Raiders offense responds from getting shut down by the Rams last week. They started the game with two great drives, but were then only held to 13 points for the game. Going up against a Denver defense this week that is hungry to continue its success, the Raiders will look to utilize their stacked offense (on paper at least) and try to avoid starting 0-2. 3. The Browns may have tied last week, but this week, I expect them to upset the Saints and hand New Orleans an 0-2 start to the season. With all that said, here are my position rankings for Week 2 of the 2018-19 NFL Season:

2018-19 NFL Week 1 Position Rankings

A few things to consider: 1. I’m going to be keeping my eyes glued to the Patriots vs Texans game, as if last year’s matchup is any indication, those two teams will be putting up fantasy points left and right. Look for Brady to slightly edge out Watson though in the points category, as I expect the Pats to defend their home turf today. 2. It’ll be interesting to see how OBJ comes back from a fractured ankle. Will he be a deep threat, or will he be a little timid in the opening weeks? Personally, I hope that he comes back healthy, because that guy is one of the most exciting players in the game. 3. The game I’m most looking forward to this week is definitely Steelers vs Browns. I have the Browns in a HUGE upset, but more on that in my Game Picks post. With all that said, here are my position rankings for Week 1 of the 2018-19 NFL Season:
